A stamped concrete installation involves a process that stamps patterns into freshly poured colored concrete. There is no shortage of design options, as stamping tools are available in many patterns.

Many of our customers use concrete as a cheaper alternative to natural stone. Cheaper stamped concrete can mimic the appearance of natural stone materials. The result is the realistic appearance of natural stones with the greater durability of concrete material. It is also quicker to install this concrete solution that is also more resistant to deterioration.

SAND WASHED FINISH

For a lightly etched concrete surface that exposes only the sand fines of the concrete Sand Finishes & Acid Washed Finishes can be the perfect natural solution .

Once placed and after the concrete has been finished to the proper stage special retardants are applied to etch away a thin film of the surface. After a curing period the surface is washed to remove and expose only the sand of the mix. The process gives a clean, formal and stylish effect to driveways, patios, sidewalks and pool decks

EXPOSED AGGREGATE WASHED FINISH

An exposed-aggregate surface is obtained by placing concrete and then removing the outer 'skin' of cement paste to uncover decorative coarse aggregate (either batched into the concrete mix or seeded onto the surface). Because of its durability and skid resistance, an exposed aggregate finish is ideal for most flatwork driveways, patios, sidewalks and pool decks.
